Apply to our School

Thank you for your interest in our school. Now that you know what we’re all about, we invite you to apply. When you enroll at Redeemer Lutheran School, you make a spiritual and educational investment in your most priceless asset—your child.

Enrollment Policies

Redeemer Lutheran School abides by the age entrance requirements of the state of Florida. Students entering kindergarten must be five years old by September 1 to enroll. We screen kindergarten applicants with a developmental inventory for readiness before we accept them into the program.

We have a strong commitment to provide a Christian school experience and give preference to the children in our own membership and those of our sister Lutheran churches. We also welcome, and will accept as space permits, students who are not members of a Lutheran church congregation, including members of other Christian denominations and those without religious affiliation. We require every student at Redeemer to participate in the religious instruction classes offered by our school curriculum.

We allocate priority enrollment in our classrooms on the following basis:

  1. Children who are members of Redeemer Lutheran Church and those currently enrolled in our school
  2. Siblings of those enrolled at Redeemer Lutheran school
  3. Children from sister Lutheran churches
  4. Children of others seeking enrollment on a first-come, first-served basis

Voluntary Pre-K

A new law extends Voluntary Pre-K (VPK) eligibility to families with children born between February 2 and September 1. You now have the option to postpone enrolling your four-year-old until the following year when your child is five.
